NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/9/18

*Mike Barner — @rotomikebarner*

Friday isn’t particularly busy with seven games in the NBA, but there are a lot of great expensive options available in DFS. In order to fit a few studs into your lineup, you’ll need to find the right mix of cheap value plays. Here are some players to consider when creating your lineup. Don’t forget to sign up for our Newsletter and try our Playerlab tool, where you can filter the stats that matter the most and help build a winning entry on FanDuel and DraftKings.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/9/18

Derrick Rose, MIN at SAC
FanDuel = $6,000
DraftKings = $6,800

The Timberwolves star trio is Jimmy Butler, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Andrew Wiggins, but the loss of Jeff Teague (knee) has left them with a significant hole to fill at point guard. Coach Tom Thibodeau has turned to a familiar face in Rose to take on the role and he certainly hasn’t let him down. Not only did Rose have a monster 50-point performance against the Jazz, but he’s scored at least 21 points in both of his last two games. The Kings are tied for the third-most points allowed per game (118.8) in the league, leaving Rose with the potential for another offensive outburst.

D.J. Augustin, ORL vs. WAS
FanDuel = $4,800
DraftKings = $4,500

Although it’s not an ideal fit, Augustin continues to start for the Magic. After coming off of the bench for the majority of his career, Augustin is averaging 10.4 points, 2.5 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 1.5 three-pointers per contest in his new role. The Wizards play at the seventh-fastest pace (104.5 possessions per game) and have allowed the most points per game (120.5), so Augustin and the offensive-challenged Magic could have one of their higher scoring performances of the year.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/9/18

Terrence Ross, ORL vs. WAS
FanDuel = $4,800
DraftKings = $4,700

With this matchup against the Wizards, just about everyone on the Magic gets a boost in value. Ross has carved out a significant role off the bench, posting the third-highest usage rate (23.4 percent) on the team, behind only Evan Fournier (26.2 percent) and Nikola Vucevic (24.7 percent). The Magic will also be a little shorthanded with Jonathan Isaac (ankle) out, which could leave Ross with some added playing time. Across the last three games with Isaac out, Ross is averaging 15.7 points, three rebounds, and 2.7 three-pointers.

Malik Monk, CHA at PHI
FanDuel = $4,500
DraftKings = $4,400

The Hornets don’t exactly play at a neck-breaking speed, but they might be forced to Friday against a Sixers team that plays at the sixth-fastest pace (104.7). If the Hornets are going to keep up offensively, Monk will need to be a big part of their success off the bench. He’s already been one of their most potent shooters from behind the arc, averaging 13.4 points and 2.3 three-pointers per contest. At his cheap price on both sites, he’s worth considering in tournament play, even if you can’t count on him to provide much in other categories.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/9/18

Justise Winslow, MIA vs. IND
FanDuel = $5,600
DraftKings = $5,600

The Heat will continue to have depth issues with James Johnson (sports hernia), Dwyane Wade (personal), Dion Waiters (ankle) and Derrick Jones Jr. (knee) already ruled out Friday. Things could be even worse if Goran Dragic (ankle) is forced to miss his second straight game. Winslow should get plenty of time on the floor against the Pacers, and although he doesn’t excel in any one area, he can still provide value since he is averaging 10.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, four assists, and 1.7 three-pointers.

Bojan Bogdanovic, IND at MIA
FanDuel = $4,400
DraftKings = $4,400

Unlike the Heat, the Pacers are fortunate to enter this game healthy. Although he’s not one of their flashiest players, Bogdanovic is averaging 30 minutes a game as a member of the starting five. He’s been extremely efficient in the early going, shooting 49.6 percent from the field and 49 percent from behind the arc. Both of those numbers are likely to regress as the season wears on, but Bogdanovic did average 14.3 points and 1.9 three-pointers a game last season. If you want to go really cheap at small forward, Bogdanovic is a viable target.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/9/18

Taj Gibson, MIN at SAC
FanDuel = $5,300
DraftKings = $4,900

Gibson might fly under the radar due to all of the talent that the Timberwolves have in their starting five but don’t sleep on him in DFS. Not only is he a strong rebounder and defender, but he’s averaging 11.2 points per game with teams having to focus their defensive attention elsewhere. With the Kings defensive deficiencies already detailed, Gibson is another Timberwolves player to target for your entry.

Trey Lyles, DEN vs. BKN
FanDuel = $5.000
DraftKings = $4,700

Lyles has played well when given extended playing time, averaging 11.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 0.9 steals across nine games in which he has logged at least 20 minutes. He’s also coming off one of his best performances so far, scoring 16 points and grabbing nine rebounds against the Grizzlies on Wednesday. That’s probably towards the top of Lyles’ upside, but he’s priced low enough to possibly be worth the risk in tournament play. There is also some potential that this game becomes a blowout, which could lead to a few added minutes for Lyles.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/9/18

Myles Turner, IND at MIA
FanDuel = $5,400
DraftKings = $4,800

Turner’s price is falling as his minutes continue to be limited with Domantas Sabonis playing so well off of the bench. Turner’s 4.8 rebounds per game are disappointing for a starting center, but his 11.3 points and 2.4 blocks per contest still leave him with some upside. There is the possibility that he gains a few extra minutes in this game with the Pacers needing him to defend Hassan Whiteside. If that’s the case, his price has come down enough to warrant consideration.

Mason Plumlee, DEN vs. BKN
FanDuel = $4,100
DraftKings = $3,800

Plumlee is one of the better backup centers in the league. Even though he’s only playing 18 minutes a game, he’s still averaging 7.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per contest. His playing time isn’t going to increase anytime soon, but that doesn’t mean he should be ignored in tournament play. The Nets have been one of the worst teams in the league at defending opposing centers, so Plumlee could still do some damage off the bench.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/7/18

*Mike Barner — @rotomikebarner*

Wednesday is going to be a great night in the NBA with 10 games on the schedule. With no time to waste, let’s jump right in and take a look at some value plays who could provide significant production. Don’t forget to sign up for our Newsletter and try our Playerlab tool, where you can filter the stats that matter the most and help build a winning entry on FanDuel and DraftKings.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/7/18

Derrick Rose, MIN at LAL
FanDuel = $5,500
DraftKings = $5,600

Rose returned from a one-game absence due to an ankle injury to play 35 minutes Monday against the Clippers, so he appears to be fine moving forward. Although it took him 20 shot attempts to get there, Rose scored 21 points in that game to go along with three rebounds and four assists. Jeff Teague (knee) will be out again for this contest, making Rose a great option against a Lakers team that plays at the third-fastest pace (106.4 possessions per game) in the league.

Shelvin Mack, MEM vs. DEN
FanDuel = $5,200
DraftKings = $4,600

Mack is dealing with some groin soreness, but he’s listed as probable for this matchup. He’s turned into a key backup behind Mike Conley, averaging 26 minutes a game. Don’t expect him to lose playing time anytime soon since he’s averaging 12 points, 2.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.3 three-pointers per contest. Rose certainly has a higher upside, but Mack is also worth considering.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/7/18

Allonzo Trier, NY at ATL
FanDuel = $4,200
DraftKings = $4,500

Tim Hardaway Jr. entered Monday’s game against the Bulls with a back injury. He was listed as active, but he never entered the contest. Trier started in his place and shined in their double-overtime loss, scoring 21 points to go along with three rebounds, two steals, and two three-pointers. Even before Monday, Trier had scored at least 12 points in a game five times this season. His value will definitely take a hit if Hardaway starts, but Trier shouldn’t be totally ignored against a Hawks team that is playing at the fastest pace (108.2) in the league.

Antonio Blakeney, CHI at NO
FanDuel = $3,800
DraftKings = $3,700

Blakeney can flat out shoot. The Bulls have been decimated by injuries to start the year, which has allowed him to log a few extra minutes. Across six games in which he has logged at least 20 minutes, Blakeney is averaging 16.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.8 three-pointers. His 25.9 percent usage rate is actually second on the team behind only Zach LaVine (34.1 percent). This game could become a blowout early, which could lead to a lot of garbage time scoring for Blakeney. At this cheap price, he should be on your radar in tournament play.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/7/18

Justise Winslow, MIA vs. SA
FanDuel = $5,700
DraftKings = $5,600

Winslow has started the last two games for the Heat. One was in place of the injured Goran Dragic and the other was in favor of the inconsistent Kelly Olynyk. He averaged 12 points, eight rebounds, 6.5 assists, 2.5 steals, and one block in those games, making a case to stick in a starting role moving forward. It wouldn’t be surprising to at least see him start again Wednesday, especially with the Spurs likely having to play smaller with Pau Gasol (foot) already ruled out.

Jae Crowder, UTA vs. DAL
FanDuel = $5,300
DraftKings = $5,500

Even though Crowder has only started one game this season, his 30 minutes per contest rank fourth-highest on the team. He’s looked like the player that he was in Boston, averaging 14.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 2.2 three-pointers across his first 10 games. The Mavericks have allowed the eighth-most points per game (115.1), so this could be a high-scoring affair that benefits Crowder’s upside.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/7/18

Jerami Grant, OKC at CLE
FanDuel = $5,400
DraftKings = $5,100

The Thunder don’t have much depth, to begin with, but they’ll be tested even further with Russell Westbrook (ankle) out for this game. Grant isn’t necessarily counted on for much offense, but he could see a few extra shot attempts as a result of Westbrook being on the sidelines. Since taking over as the starting power forward, Grant is averaging 13.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and one three-pointer across six games.

Taj Gibson, MIN at LAL
FanDuel = $4,900
DraftKings = $4,500

One of coach Tom Thibodeau’s favorites, Gibson has actually seen his playing time decrease from 33 minutes a game last year to 26 minutes per contest this season. Even will less time on the floor, Gibson has still been able to average 10.7 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.1 steals, and one block. When these two teams met earlier this season, Gibson finished with eight points, six rebounds, two steals, and three blocks over 29 minutes. With the Lakers playing at such a fast pace, Gibson is a viable option at this reduced price.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/7/18

Tristan Thompson, CLE vs. OKC
FanDuel = $5,400
DraftKings = $5,000

Things are getting thin up front for the Cavaliers. They have already been without Kevin Love (foot), but now Sam Dekker (ankle) is also on the shelf. Thompson will likely be forced to play more with limited depth behind him, especially facing Steven Adams on Wednesday. Although he hasn’t provided much in the way of defensive stats, Thompson is a nightly double-double threat with averages of nine points and 9.6 rebounds across his first 10 games.

Cristiano Felicio, CHI at NO
FanDuel = $3,500
DraftKings = $3,200

If the Bulls weren’t missing Lauri Markkanen (elbow) and Bobby Portis (knee), Felicio probably wouldn’t even be playing. Wendell Carter Jr. is getting the lion’s share of the minutes at center, but the Bulls have decided to give Felicio minutes as his backup over Robin Lopez. His skill set is extremely limited, but Felicio has averaged 6.5 points and 7.8 rebounds over four games in which he has logged at least 20 minutes. If the Bulls get blown out in this game, he should play more during garbage time. His ceiling isn’t very high, but he’s at least someone to consider at this dirt cheap price if you want to load up elsewhere.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/29/18

*Mike Barner — @rotomikebarner*

The NBA starts off the week with nine games on the schedule Monday. With so many options to wade through, let’s get right down to business and examine some value plays that could be in line for big performances. Don’t forget to sign up for our Newsletter and try our Playerlab tool, where you can filter the stats that matter the most and help build a winning entry on FanDuel and DraftKings.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/29/18

Cameron Payne, CHI vs. GS
FanDuel = $5,500
DraftKings = $4,800

With Kris Dunn (knee) out for over a month, Payne will continue to start at point guard for the Bulls. Across five starts this year, he’s averaging 11 points, 2.4 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.8 three-pointers per contest. This game feels like a blowout in the making, but Payne should still get enough playing time to provide value, especially since the Warriors play at the eighth-fastest pace (103.6 possessions per game) in the league.

Derrick Rose, MIN vs. LAL
FanDuel = $4,800
DraftKings = $5,100

Rose has been one of the key cogs off the bench for the Timberwolves, averaging 28 minutes per contest. His 41.4 percent shooting percentage isn’t great, but he’s still averaging 14.8 points. Scoring hasn’t been his only area of value, either, with averages of 3.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists, as well. The Lakers have allowed the second-most points per game (122.2) and play at the fifth-fastest-pace (106.4), leaving Rose with a matchup to exploit.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/29/18

Wesley Matthews, DAL at SA
FanDuel = $5,000
DraftKings = $5,200

Quick, who is leading the Mavericks in scoring this season? Is it their promising rookie Luka Doncic? Maybe it’s Dennis Smith Jr., who had a 28.9 percent usage rate last year? Nope, it’s the veteran Matthews at 20 points per game. Known more for his defensive abilities, Matthews has cashed in his career-high 23.3 percent usage rate in the early going. It’s hard to imagine him keeping this up for the entire season, but he’s playing 34 minutes a game and is clearly a key part of the Mavericks’ starting lineup.

Monte Morris, DEN vs. NO
FanDuel = $4,800
DraftKings = $4,500

With Isaiah Thomas (hip) yet to play in a game this year, Morris has worked his way into an expanded role. He’s shown some promise, averaging 13.3 points, four rebounds, six assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.3 three-points in all three games in which he has logged at least 20 minutes. The Pelicans play at the fourth-fastest pace (106.8), which could lead to a productive outing from Morris on Monday.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/29/18

Harrison Barnes, DAL at SA
FanDuel = $5,300
DraftKings = $5,200

The Mavericks had a severe lack of talent last year, leading Barnes to average 18.9 points and 1.5 three-pointers with a 25.2 percent usage rate. Barnes was sidelined to start the season due to a hamstring injury, but is healthy now and logged 34 minutes Sunday against the Jazz. His shot has been off so far, but it’s encouraging to see him get at least 13 field goal attempts in both games. His value is mostly limited to points and rebounds, but he is still someone to consider at this reduced price.

Justise Winslow, MIA vs. SAC
FanDuel = $4,700
DraftKings = $4,200

Winslow has only played one game this season because of a hamstring issue of his own. He logged 19 minutes in that contest Saturday against the Blazers and came out of the game with no apparent ill effects. His minutes upside is limited even when he is healthy, but that doesn’t mean you should ignore him for your entry. The Heat could put up a lot of points in this game with the Kings allowing the third-most points per game (120.3) and playing at the third-fastest pace (107.3).

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/29/18

Trey Lyles, DEN vs. NO
FanDuel = $4,300
DraftKings = $4,300

The injury to Will Barton (groin) has opened up a little extra playing time for Lyles. He’s logged at least 20 minutes in all three games since Barton went down, averaging 9.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, three assists, and 1.3 steals. Morris certainly has the higher upside of the two key reserves for the Nuggets, but Lyles is also someone to consider if you’re looking to save money at power forward.

Ersan Ilyasova, MIL vs. TOR
FanDuel = $4,100
DraftKings = $4,100

The Bucks could be without their best player Monday as Giannis Antetokounmpo is listed as questionable due to a concussion. If he can’t play, that leaves a huge void in their offense. Ilyasova could enter the starting five if Giannis sits, which would leave him with significantly more upside than his current role off the bench. That being said, you might want to consider Ilyasova even if Giannis does play since he is one of the key parts of their second unit.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/29/18

Julius Randle, NO at DEN
FanDuel = $6,300
DraftKings = $6,200

Randle started in place of Anthony Davis (elbow) on Saturday, but he only played 19 minutes. It was a tough matchup against Rudy Gobert, which could be the main reason why he finished with just 12 points and three rebounds. Davis’ status is in doubt again Monday, potentially leaving Randle with another opportunity to start. If that’s the case, he could be a great option since he won’t have to deal with Gobert again.

Dewayne Dedmon, ATL at PHI
FanDuel = $4,500
DraftKings = $4,700

With Dedmon missing the start of the season due to an ankle injury, Alex Len was given a chance to start at center. He didn’t do much with his opportunity, but he has continued to start even after Dedmon’s return. It wouldn’t be surprising for him to lose the job soon, though, especially since Dedmon looked great Saturday with 13 points, 13 rebounds and five blocks against the Bulls. Facing Joel Embiid is no easy task, but Dedmon is still someone to consider if you want to go really cheap at center.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/16/18

Tyler Johnson, MIA at LAL
FanDuel = $5,000
DraftKings = $5,300

The Heat are going to be shorthanded in their backcourt again Friday with Dwyane Wade (hamstring) out and Josh Richardson (foot) listed as doubtful. Both players didn’t play in the Heat’s last game Wednesday against the Kings, a contest where Johnson scored 14 points to go along with five rebounds, two assists, one steal and four-three-pointers in 28 minutes. He has actually scored at least 12 points in nine of his last 10 games, making him a viable option for your entry.

Shane Larkin, BOS at ORL
FanDuel = $3,900
DraftKings – $3,800

The Celtics are going to have limited depth Friday with Marcus Smart (thumb), Jaylen Brown (concussion) and Kyrie Irving (knee) all out. Larkin played 24 minutes with them sidelined Wednesday, finishing with 11 points, one rebound, four assists, two steals and one three-pointer. Celtics coach Brad Stevens said he was on a minutes restriction in that game, which does limit his value. However, the Magic allow the second-most points per game on both FanDuel and DraftKings to opposing point guards, so Larkin is someone to still consider.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/16/18

Nick Young, GS vs. SAC
FanDuel = $4,700
DraftKings = $4,000

The Warriors are also dealing with injuries at guard and will be without Stephen Curry (ankle) and Klay Thompson (thumb) on Friday. Both players sat Wednesday against the Lakers as well, leaving Young to play 31 minutes. He didn’t disappoint, scoring 18 points to go along with three rebounds, two assists, one steal and three three-pointers. He’s never one to shy away from taking shots and with the Warriors playing at the fourth-fastest pace (102.5 possessions per game) in the league, he could be in for another valuable scoring night against the Kings.

Wayne Ellington, MIA at LAL
FanDuel = $4,200
DraftKings = $4,400

Ellington also saw an expanded role with Wade and Richardson sidelined Wednesday, logging 36 minutes. He took a whopping 17 three-pointers, hitting six of them on his way to 22 points. The Lakers play at the fastest pace (103.2) and are tied for the third-most points allowed per game (110.2) in the league, so Ellington could be jacking up, and hitting, a lot of shots from behind the arc again Friday. Don’t expect much from him in other categories, but he’s still worth considering for your entry.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/16/18

Justise Winslow, MIA at LAL
FanDuel = $5,600
DraftKings = $5,700

Winslow is off to a great start in March, averaging 12.6 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.6 three-pointers in eight games. He’s averaging just 24 minutes per game this season but is averaging 31 minutes this month. With all of the Heat’s injury issues, expect him to continue to play heavy minutes Friday. The Lakers allow the second-most FanDuel points per game and the third-most DraftKings points per game to opposing small forwards, so don’t hesitate to add Winslow to your lineup.

Corey Brewer, OKC vs. LAC
FanDuel = $4,900
DraftKings = $4,400

The Thunder have been searching for depth all season and made an important move by signing Brewer after he was bought out by the Lakers. He’s played at least 28 minutes in four straight games, averaging 15.5 points, 3,8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.5 three-pointers. The increased playing time brings added value Friday as the Clippers play at the sixth-fastest pace (101.2) in the league. At this cheap price, it’s hard to pass him up considering his upside.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/16/18

Kelly Olynyk, MIA at LAL
FanDuel = $5,500
DraftKings = $6,000

The Heat will be without another key contributor Friday with Hassan Whiteside (hip) set to miss his four straight games. In the first three games that he missed, Olynyk averaged 11.7 points, eight rebounds, 4.7 assists, one block and one three-pointer. He played 31 minutes Wednesday against the Kings and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him play a similar total Friday against the uptempo Lakers. His price is climbing, but it’s still low enough where he can provide value.

James Johnson, MIA at LAL
FanDuel = $4,700
DraftKings = $5,200

Johnson had one of his best games of the season Wednesday, scoring 18 points to go along with 10 rebounds, seven assists, two steals and one block in 34 minutes. He has played at least 30 minutes in a game 15 times this season, averaging 13.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.3 steals, 0.9 blocks and 0.9 three-pointers in those contests. The Lakers may be going with smaller lineups if Kyle Kuzma (ankle) is unable to play, which would benefit Johnson’s skill set. Even if Kuzma does take the floor, Johnson should have enough opportunities to provide value.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/16/18

Greg Monroe, BOS at ORL
FanDuel = $4,800
DraftKings = $5,100

Monroe excelled in Wednesday’s double-overtime loss, posting 16 points, 10 rebounds, one steal and two blocks. He only played 25 minutes, but with the team’s second-highest usage rate of 22.6%, he doesn’t necessarily have to play a lot in order to put up numbers. Al Horford (illness) is expected to return Friday, so that will likely hamper Monroe’s value to an extent. With the Magic playing at the ninth-fastest pace (100.4) and allowing the sixth-most points per game (109.6) in the league though, Monroe is still a viable cheap option at center.

Zaza Pachulia, GS vs. SAC
FanDuel = $3,900
DraftKings = $4,600

Don’t look now, but Pachulia has recorded a double-double in two straight contests. He returned to the starting lineup Wednesday against the Lakers, scoring 10 points to go along with 12 rebounds and five assists in 23 minutes. The Kings have size and depth up front, so it wouldn’t be surprising for Pachulia to see similar playing time Friday. The Kings allow the second-most FanDuel points per game and the fourth-most DraftKings points per game to opposing centers, making Pachulia an intriguing option.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/14/18

Tomas Satoransky, WAS at BOS
FanDuel = $5,700
DraftKings = $5,700

The Wizards couldn’t have asked for more from Satoransky since John Wall (knee) went down. In 20 starts this season. Satoransky is averaging 11.3 points, four rebounds, 5.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.2 three-pointers. He’ll get to face a depleted Celtics backcourt Wednesday that will be without Kyrie Irving (knee), Marcus Smart (thumb) and Jaylen Brown (concussion). Terry Rozier is a fine player and will have a big role with all of them out, but they don’t have many quality players behind him. Look for Satoransky to thrive in this matchup against the Celtics backups.

Brandon Jennings, MIL at ORL
FanDuel = Not Available
DraftKings = $4,400

Talk about a triumphant return. The Bucks signed Jennings to a 10-day contract and he made his season debut Monday, scoring 16 points to go along with eight rebounds, 12 assists, and three three-pointers. He played 24 minutes against a bad Grizzlies team, which has to be taken into consideration when you look at his numbers. Don’t expect him to be able to match that production again Wednesday, but he could approach 20 minutes again if the Bucks get up big against the lowly Magic. Of note, Jennings is not part of the player pool on FanDuel for some reason, so you’ll only have the opportunity to take advantage of his cheap price if you are playing on DraftKings.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/14/18

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, LAL at GS
FanDuel = $6,300
DraftKings = $6,000

Although the Lakers added Isaiah Thomas and have Lonzo Ball back healthy, the injury to Josh Hart (hand) has still left plenty of minutes to go around for their backcourt. Caldwell-Pope is actually having his best month of the season so far in March, averaging 15.6 points, 7.3 rebounds. 2.1 assists, 1.4 steals, and 2.9 three-pointers in seven games. Both the Lakers and the Warriors are in the top four in the league in pace of play, so expect Caldwell-Pope to get plenty of opportunities to keep his hot streak alive Wednesday.

Wayne Ellington, MIA at SAC
FanDuel = $4,000
DraftKings = $3,900

Dwyane Wade (hamstring) will be out again Wednesday, which should free up some playing time for Ellington. With Wade sidelined Monday against the Portland Trail Blazers, Ellington logged 30 minutes. Although he only scored 11 points, he was just 4-for-12 from the field, including 3-for-10 on three-pointers. If his shot is falling Wednesday, he could provide significant upside at this cheap price.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/14/18

Justise Winslow, MIA at SAC
FanDuel = $5,800
DraftKings = $5,900

Winslow is having his best prolonged stretch of the season, averaging 13 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.6 three-pointers in seven games in March. The key is he is averaging 31 minutes per game this month after averaging no more than 25 minutes in any previous month this season. Expect that to be a trend that continues with Wade out Wednesday, making Winslow a viable option against the lowly Kings.

Andre Iguodala, GS vs. LAL
FanDuel = $4,500
DraftKings = $4,200

Iguodala (wrist) has missed the last three games for the Warriors but is listed as probable Wednesday against the Lakers. His return couldn’t come at a better time as the Warriors will be without both Stephen Curry (ankle) and Draymond Green (shoulder) in this contest. Iguodala could have a significant role helping to facilitate the Warriors offense, which is great news considering the Lakers allow the fourth-most points per game (110.1) in the league. As long as he plays, he should be able to outproduce his price point Wednesday.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/14/18

Kelly Olynyk, MIA at SAC
FanDuel = $5,500
DraftKings = $5,800

Injuries continue to be the theme Wednesday as the Heat will also be without Hassan Whiteside (hip). The Heat won’t have much depth up front as a result, leaving Olynyk with an expanded role. In the last two games that Whiteside missed, Olynyk averaged 11 points, eight rebounds, 4.5 assists, one steal and one block. His offensive upside isn’t very high, but his ability to provide production in multiple categories makes him someone to consider for your entry.

Bam Adebayo, MIA at SAC
FanDuel = $4,300
DraftKings = $4,300

Olynyk has played well with Whiteside out, but Adebayo has actually started both of the last two games. While he didn’t fare as well, he did average five points, 8.5 rebounds, and two assists. He played 25 minutes Monday against the Trail Blazers, so he should see significant minutes against Wednesday. The Kings allow the second-most FanDuel points per game (55.5) and the third-most DraftKings points per game (54.2) to opposing centers, giving Adebayo upside in this game.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/14/18

Greg Monroe, BOS vs. WAS
FanDuel = $5,000
DraftKings = $4,600

The Celtics don’t have a lot of great offensive players, to begin with, and will be without their best one in Irving on Wednesday. Monroe’s usage rate of 22.5% since joining the Celtics is actually the second highest on the team. Although he’s not a big name, the loss of Daniel Theis (knee) is also a big blow to the Celtics frontcourt. Monroe could be in for a monster role if Al Horford also doesn’t play Wednesday due to his illness, but he can still provide value even if Horford takes the floor.

Marcin Gortat, WAS at BOS
FanDuel = $4,000
DraftKings = $4,500

Gortat is slumping right now, averaging just 6.8 points and 5.7 rebounds in six games this month. However, he’s played well against the Celtics this season, averaging 10.5 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and 1.5 blocks in their previous two meetings. With the Celtics shorthanded up front Wednesday, Gortat could have his way on the boards once again. He won’t cost much, making him a viable option in tournament play.
