Daily Fantasy Baseball Stacks – Sunday, August 6

Sunday’s 16-game schedule provides a nice mix of excellent starting pitchers and favorable offensive match ups. Put your favorite daily fantasy baseball stacks from the article below in our lineup optimizer and hit calculate. You can let it fill in the rest of the spots for you or choose your personal favorites from the MLB Player Lab.

**STARTING PITCHERS**

Luis Severino vs. Cleveland Indians
Park – Progressive Field

Severino has been excellent for the Yankees this season as he is 8-4 with a 2.98 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 153 strikeouts in 132.2 innings.  He has been especially hot of late as he has allowed two earned runs total over his last four starts. His control is excellent as he has only issued 35 walks this season. The Yankees are a much better team at home than on the road, but Severino has actually been better on the road as he has posted a 2.71 ERA away from the Bronx. Severino’s ability to rack up strikeouts should leave him with plenty of value Sunday.

Danny Duffy vs. Seattle Mariners
Park – Kauffman Stadium

I recommended Duffy Saturday, but the game was rained out, pushing his start to Sunday. Sunday still presents a favorable match up for Duffy as he is excellent at home, posting a 2.93 ERA and 1.15 WHIP this season. A stat that is even more impressive, he has not allowed a home run at Kauffman Stadium all year. That’s not good news for the Mariners as they enter Sunday with only a .393 slugging percentage against left handed pitching. Stick with him Sunday as this has the makings of a big outing.

**OFFENSIVE STACKS**

Boston Red Sox vs. Mike Pelfrey (Chicago White Sox)
Park – Fenway Park

Pelfrey is in the midst of another terrible season as he enters Sunday 3-9 with a 5.04 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and only 57 strikeouts in 89.1 innings. Not only does he struggle to record strikeouts, but he has already issued 44 walks this season. Pelfrey has been crushed in day games this year, posting a 7.45 ERA and 1.66 WHIP. The Red Sox offense has been scoring plenty of runs of late, so look for them to rough up Pelfrey Sunday.

Players to consider stacking: Mookie Betts, Rafael Devers and Andrew Benintendi

Chicago Cubs vs. Erick Fedde (Washington Nationals)
Park – Wrigley Field

Fedde has only made one start for the Nationals this season and he was rocked for seven runs over four innings against the Colorado Rockies. His stats in the minors are not impressive either as he posted a 5.57 ERA and a 1.38 WHIP at Triple-A this season.  He’s really not ready to be pitching in the majors yet, but the Nationals are dealing with both injuries to their starting staff and Gio Gonzalez currently being on the paternity list. Cash in with the Cubs hitters in your lineup Sunday.

Players to consider stacking: Kris Bryant, Anthony Rizzo and Javier Baez.

Daily Fantasy Baseball Stacks – Saturday, August 5

Saturday’s schedule doesn’t include any elite aces taking the mound, which should leave you with extra money to spend on your offense. Put your favorite daily fantasy baseball stacks from the article below in our lineup optimizer and hit calculate. You can let it fill in the rest of the spots for you or choose your personal favorites from the MLB Player Lab.

**STARTING PITCHERS**

Gerrit Cole vs. San Diego Padres
Park – PNC Park

Cole’s numbers are not overly impressive this season as he enters Saturday 9-7 with a 3.97 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 120 strikeouts in 133.2 innings. When he is bad, he is really bad as he has allowed at least seven runs in three of 11 starts since the calendar turned to June. However, he has been much better of late as he has pitched at least six innings and allowed two runs or less in each of his last five starts. He faced the Padres in his last start and allowed one run to go along with eight strikeouts in seven innings. Look for him to pitch well against their weak lineup again Saturday.

Danny Duffy vs. Seattle Mariners
Park – Kauffman Stadium

Like Cole, Duffy doesn’t have sparkling numbers either as he is 7-6 with a 3.42 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 85 strikeouts in 108 innings this season. He struck out more than a batter per inning last season, so he has seen significant regression in that department. However, he still lines up for a favorable start Saturday as he is excellent at home, posting a 2.93 ERA and 1.15 WHIP this season. Even more impressive, he has not allowed a home run at Kauffman Stadium all year. That’s not good news for the Mariners as they entered Friday with only a .392 slugging percentage against left handed pitching. Duffy could be in line for a big performance.

**OFFENSIVE STACKS**

Colorado Rockies vs. Nick Pivetta (Philadelphia Phillies)
Park – Coors Field

Pivetta has struggled in his rookie season as he is 4-6 with a 5.42 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 83 strikeouts in 81.1 innings. He has struggled in two key areas as he has already allowed 16 home runs and issued 34 walks. That’s not a recipe for success by any means. Things aren’t going to get any easier for him pitching in Coors Field as the Rockies entered Friday hitting .304 with a .870 OPS at home. Load your lineup with Rockies bats and enjoy the ride.

Players to consider stacking: Nolan Arenado, Charlie Blackmon and DJ LeMahieu

Boston Red Sox vs. James Shields (Chicago White Sox)
Park – Fenway Park

Shields just hasn’t worked out since becoming a member of the White Sox. After being hit hard last year once he was traded there, his struggles have continued this year as he has a 6.19 ERA, 1.66 WHIP and 44 strikeouts in 56.2 innings. He really struggles to keep the ball in the park as he has already allowed 15 home runs in his limited innings. Over his last five starts, he allowed at least six runs three times. Look for the Red Sox to put up some crooked numbers Saturday.

Players to consider stacking: Mookie Betts, Rafael Devers and Andrew Benintendi

Daily Fantasy Baseball Stacks – Sunday, July 30

Sunday marks the last day of action before Monday’s trade deadline, so make sure to watch out for players who could be pulled just before game time because of a deal. Put your favorite daily fantasy baseball stacks from the article below in our lineup optimizer and hit calculate. You can let it fill in the rest of the spots for you or choose your personal favorites from the MLB Player Lab.

**STARTING PITCHERS**

James Paxton vs. New York Mets
Park – Safeco Field

Paxton is in the midst of a breakout season as he enters Sunday 10-3 with a 2.84 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 117 strikeouts in 101.1 innings. He has been even better over his last four starts as he only allowed five runs to go along with 35 strikeouts in 27 innings. His numbers at home this season are excellent as he has a 2.36 ERA over 10 starts at Safeco Field. There aren’t many aces taking the mound Sunday, making Paxton one of the more promising options for the day.

Lance Lynn vs. Arizona Diamondbacks
Park – Busch Stadium

Lynn is one of those players you want to keep an eye on leading up to his game as he has been rumored to possibly be on the move before the deadline. As long as he starts, he presents a strong option Sunday. He enters the contest 8-6 with a 3.21 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 107 strikeouts in 120.2 innings. Lynn has been excellent at home this season as he has a 2.53 ERA and 1.01 WHIP at Busch Stadium. He has also been hot of late as he has a microscopic 1.17 ERA in July. To add one final stat that favors Lynn, the Diamondbacks entered Saturday hitting only .238 on the road.

**OFFENSIVE STACKS**

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Matt Cain (San Francisco Giants)
Park – Dodger Stadium

Sit back and get ready for some ugly numbers. Cain has been terrible on the season overall as he is 3-9 with a 5.45 ERA, 1.67 WHIP and only 59 strikeouts in 100.2 innings. He has been hit hard during day games as he has a 6.63 ERA and 1.77 WHIP in such contests this season. His road struggles are staggering as well as he has an 8.14 ERA and 1.99 WHIP on the road. All signs point to a big performance from the Dodgers Sunday.

Players to consider stacking: Cody Bellinger, Corey Seager and Chris Taylor

Cleveland Indians vs. Carlos Rodon (Chicago White Sox)
Park – Guaranteed Rate Field

Rodon has really struggled after missing the start of the season due to injury as he is only 1-4 with a 6.29 ERA and a 1.77 WHIP. While he does have 31 strikeouts in 24.1 innings, that is largely negated by the fact that he has already allowed six home runs and issued 18 walks. His last three starts have been particularly poor as he allowed 15 runs over 13 innings total. The Indians entered Saturday hitting .266 against left handing pitching, which is in the top 10 in all of baseball. Look for them to put up big numbers Sunday.

Players to consider stacking: Jose Ramirez, Edwin Encarnacion and Michael Brantley

Daily Fantasy Baseball Stacks – Saturday, July 29

There is a lack of quality starting pitchers taking the mound Saturday, leaving only a few players to consider for your lineup. Put your favorite daily fantasy baseball stacks from the article below in our lineup optimizer and hit calculate. You can let it fill in the rest of the spots for you or choose your personal favorites from the MLB Player Lab.

**STARTING PITCHERS**

Corey Kluber vs. Chicago White Sox
Park – Guaranteed Rate Field

Kluber had his last start pushed back a couple of days because of neck stiffness, but that sure didn’t slow him down as he struck out 14 batters and only gave up one run in 7.2 innings against the Toronto Blue Jays. He is putting up elite numbers this season as he is 8-3 with a 2.74 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 149 strikeouts in 108.1 innings. Saturday brings a match up against the White Sox, marking the third time he will face them this season. He was excellent in his first two starts as he allowed three runs to go along with 17 strikeouts in 15 innings. For a slate weak on starting pitching, Kluber is one of the safest options out there.

Ivan Nova vs. San Diego Padres
Park – Petco Park

Nova allowed seven runs in his last start, but it was not a surprise as he faced the Colorado Rockies in Coors Field. Even with that blowup, his numbers for the season are still solid as he has a 3.62 ERA and 1.16 WHIP. He doesn’t miss many bats though as he only has 78 strikeouts in 131.2 innings. That’s not as big of a concern against the Padres though as they have scored the fewest runs in baseball. If you can’t afford to put Kluber in your lineup, Nova is a viable cheaper option.

**OFFENSIVE STACKS**

Chicago Cubs vs. Junior Guerra (Milwaukee Brewers)
Park – Miller Park

The Cubs are back to their winning ways from last season and have reclaimed first place in their division. Their offense has been a big reason for their recent success as they entered Friday hitting .289 as a team after the All-Star break. Saturday they get to face Guerra who is only 1-4 with a 5.22 ERA and 1.53 WHIP this season. He’s not a strikeout pitcher either as he only has 46 in 58.2 innings. Guerra has failed to pitch more than 5.2 innings in any of his last five starts due to his struggles. Look for the Cubs to put up some crooked numbers in this contest.

Players to consider stacking: Anthony Rizzo, Kris Bryant and Ben Zobrist

Miami Marlins vs. Tim Adleman (Cincinnati Reds)
Park – Marlins Park

The Reds have had issues with their starting pitching all season and Adleman is no exception. He enters Saturday 5-8 with a 5.11 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 92 strikeouts in 100.1 innings pitched. He struggles to keep batters in the park as he has already allowed 23 home runs this season. Making matters worse, he’s been terrible of late as he has a 6.49 ERA and 1.52 WHIP in the month of July. The Marlins should be able to provide plenty of offensive production Saturday.

Players to consider stacking: Giancarlo Stanton, Dee Gordon and Derek Dietrich

Daily Fantasy Baseball Stacks – Sunday, July 23

There are a few elite starting pitchers taking the mound Sunday, which could make offense hard to come by. Put your favorite daily fantasy baseball stacks from the article below in our lineup optimizer and hit calculate. You can let it fill in the rest of the spots for you or choose your personal favorites from the MLB Player Lab.

**STARTING PITCHERS**

Corey Kluber vs. Toronto Blue Jays
Park – Progressive Field

Kluber had his start pushed back a couple of days as he dealt with neck stiffness, but he is expected to start Sunday. He is having a spectacular season as he is 7-3 with a 2.86 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 135 strikeouts in 100.2 innings. That puts him among the best of the best in all of baseball. Believe it or not, Kluber has actually been even better at home this season as he has a 2.54 ERA at Progressive Field. While the Blue Jays have some pop in their line up, they are in the bottom five in baseball in terms of runs scored. Look for Kluber to have another great performance Sunday.

Jose Quintana vs. St. Louis Cardinals
Park – Wrigley Field

Quintana was dominant in his first start for the Cubs as he pitched seven shutout innings and recorded 12 strikeouts. Ironically, his first start as a member of the National League game against the Baltimore Orioles. Quintana’s 4.49 ERA and 1.32 WHIP for the Chicago White Sox this season were nothing to write home about, but he did allow three runs or less in each of his last seven starts with the team. Sunday brings a favorable match up against the Cardinals who only hit .237 against lefties. If you want to go with a cheaper starting pitcher, Quintana should be your guy.

**OFFENSIVE STACKS**

Colorado Rockies vs. Ivan Nova (Pittsburgh Pirates)
Park – Coors Field

At first glance, Nova doesn’t look like a pitcher you would want to take advantage of as he enters Sunday 10-6 with a 3.27 ERA and 1.13 WHIP. However, he pitches to contact as he only has 73 strikeouts in 126.2 innings. That is not a recipe for success in Coors Field. The Rockies continue to excel in their comfortable confines as they entered Saturday batting .298 with a .854 OPS at home this season. Expect them to hit Nova hard in this contest.

Players to consider stacking: Nolan Arenado, Charlie Blackmon and DJ LeMahieu

Seattle Mariners vs. Luis Cessa (New York Yankees)
Park – Safeco Field

Simply put, Cessa is not a very good pitcher. He is only in the Yankees starting rotation because Michael Pineda went down for the season with an elbow injury. Cessa enters Sunday 0-3 with a 4.61 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 19 strikeouts in 27.1 innings this season. He’s probably not going to stay in the Yankees rotation long term, but that doesn’t make a difference in DFS. Load up your lineup with Mariners hitters and enjoy the ride Sunday.

Players to consider stacking: Robinson Cano, Nelson Cruz and Ben Gamel

Daily Fantasy Baseball Stacks for 07/22/2017

Daily Fantasy Baseball Stacks – Saturday, July 22

The aren’t many elite starting pitchers taking the mound Saturday, which could lead to some big offensive numbers overall. Put your favorite daily fantasy baseball stacks from the article below in our lineup optimizer and hit calculate. You can let it fill in the rest of the spots for you or choose your personal favorites from the MLB Player Lab.

**STARTING PITCHERS**

Sean Manaea vs. New York Mets
Park – Citi Field

Manaea might be one of the more underrated starters in baseball. He enters Saturday 8-5 with a 3.68 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 101 strikeouts in 100.1 innings. He does a great job keeping the ball in the park as he has only allowed eight home runs this season. His overall numbers are impressive, but he has been even better of late as he has allowed two runs or less in three of his last four starts. The Mets entered Friday hitting only .253 with a .313 OBP against left handed pitching, so Manaea could be in line for another valuable outing Saturday.

Marcus Stroman vs. Cleveland Indians
Park – Progressive Field

Stroman is off to a great start for the Blue Jays as he is 9-5 with a 3.10 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 98 strikeouts in 119 innings. He is currently enjoying a great run of success as he has allowed two runs or less in each of his last four starts. His last two starts were particularly impressive as he held the Boston Red Sox and the Houston Astros to a combined one run in 13.2 innings. Stroman has already faced the Indians this season and he threw six scoreless innings in the game. With a weak group of starting pitchers, Stroman is one of the stronger options Saturday.

**OFFENSIVE STACKS**

Houston Astros vs. Chris Tillman (Baltimore Orioles)
Park – Oriole Park at Camden Yards

Tillman is having a terrible season as he enters Saturday 1-5 with a 7.20 ERA, 2.02 WHIP and 39 strikeouts in 55 innings. He simply can’t pitch deep into games as he is averaging less than 5 innings per start. Home runs have been a big issue for Tillman as well as he has already allowed 11 this season. He only allowed 19 in 172 innings last year. Even with Carlos Correa injured, the Astros still have a potent lineup. Make sure to take advantage of Tillman.

Players to consider stacking: Jose Altuve, George Springer and Marwin Gonzalez

Detroit Tigers vs. Kyle Gibson (Minnesota Twins)
Park – Target Field

Gibson has been a weak link in Minnesota’s rotation as he is 5-8 with a 6.29 ERA, 1.76 WHIP and only 57 strikeouts in 87.1 innings. While it’s hard to believe, he’s been even worse at home this season as he has a 7.20 ERA and 1.98 WHIP at Target Field. He just doesn’t have the stuff to put away hitters as he has issued 13 walks compared to 14 strikeouts over his last five starts. The Tigers pounced on him for six runs over 2.2 innings in a start earlier this season, so don’t be surprised to see another offensive explosion Saturday.

Players to consider stacking: Justin Upton, Nicholas Castellanos and Victor Martinez

Daily Fantasy Baseball Stacks for 07/16/2017

Daily Fantasy Baseball Stacks – Sunday, July 16

While Saturday was filled with great starting pitchers, Sunday looks to be a day that favors hitters based on some of the pitching match ups. Put your favorite daily fantasy baseball stacks from the article below in our lineup optimizer and hit calculate. You can let it fill in the rest of the spots for you or choose your personal favorites from the MLB Player Lab.

**STARTING PITCHERS**

Carlos Martinez vs. Pittsburgh Pirates
Park – PNC Park

Although Martinez is only 6-8, he’s had an excellent season as he has a 3.40 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 128 strikeouts in 116.1 innings. He’s still only 25 and made his second career All-Star team this year. Martinez is only allowing seven hits per nine innings this season, which would be the lowest average of his career. He gets a favorable match up Sunday against a Pirates team that struggles to score runs. Expect Martinez to have another excellent outing.

Sean Manaea vs. Cleveland Indians
Park – Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum

Manaea had an excellent first half for the Athletics as he went 7-5 with a 3.76 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 93 strikeouts in 93.1 innings. He did not allow more than 3 runs in any of his last four starts before the All-Star break. Sunday brings a match up against the Cleveland Indians, who he already faced earlier this season and allowed only one run to go along with nine strikeouts over seven innings. Manaea presents an opportunity to save some money at starting pitcher while still having the potential for big production.

**OFFENSIVE STACKS**

Chicago Cubs vs. Ubaldo Jimenez (Baltimore Orioles)
Park – Oriole Park at Camden Yards

The Cubs crushed Wade Miley and the Orioles Saturday as they scored 10 runs on their way to a victory. Sunday they get to face Jimenez who enters the day with a 6.67 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and 72 strikeouts in 83.2 innings. Jimenez allows a lot of home runs as he has already given up 19 this season after only allowing 16 over 142.1 innings last season. This is another great opportunity to fill your lineup with Cubs.

Players to consider stacking: Anthony Rizzo, Kris Bryant, Ian Happ

Houston Astros vs. Kyle Gibson (Minnesota Twins)
Park – Minute Maid Park

The Twins are right in the hunt for a playoff spot, but it has been in spite of Gibson’s performance so far. He enters Sunday with an ugly 6.31 ERA and 1.77 WHIP. Not only is he allowing a lot of base runners, but he has only recorded 51 strikeouts in 81.1 innings. This ins’t really a fluke either as he had a 5.07 ERA and 1.56 WHIP last season. The Astros can clobber even the best starting pitchers, so expect them to do a lot of damage against Gibson in this contest.

Players to consider stacking: George Springer, Carlos Correa and Marwin Gonzalez

Daily Fantasy Baseball Stacks for 07/15/2017

Daily Fantasy Baseball Stacks – Saturday, July 15

Saturday’s schedule is loaded with great starting pitcher options, which could lead to some difficult decisions when trying to select your hitters. Put your favorite daily fantasy baseball stacks from the article below in our lineup optimizer and hit calculate. You can let it fill in the rest of the spots for you or choose your personal favorites from the MLB Player Lab.

**STARTING PITCHERS**

Corey Kluber vs. Oakland Athletics
Park – Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum

Kluber has been nothing short of dominant for the Indians this season as he is 7-3 with a 2.80 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 123 strikeouts in 93.1 innings. His current 11.9 K/9 would be the highest mark of his career. While his overall numbers are great, he has been even better lately as he has only allowed three runs total over his last five starts. Saturday he gets to face an Oakland squad that he already mastered earlier this season when he struck out 10 batters over six shutout innings. Look for another great outing from Kluber in this one.

Jimmy Nelson vs. Philadelphia Phillies
Park – Miller Park

Nelson is having the best season of his career by far as he is 8-4 with a 3.30 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 118 strikeouts in 109 innings. The biggest improvement has been his strikeout rate which currently sits at 9.7 per nine innings. He has never had a K/9 over 7.5 in any of the previous four seasons of his career. Not only have his strikeouts increased, but his BB/9 is down to 2.2 after it was 4.3 last season. Nelson has two big factors working in his favor Saturday. First, he has been excellent at home as he has a 2.35 ERA and 1.23 WHIP at Miller Park this season. Second, he gets to face off against a very poor Philadelphia offense. If you don’t want to pay the price for Kluber, Nelson should be your man Saturday.

**OFFENSIVE STACKS**

Detroit Tigers vs. Francisco Liriano (Toronto Blue Jays)
Park – Comerica Park

To say Francisco Liriano has struggled this season is an understatement. He enters Saturday with a staggering 5.56 ERA and 1.62 WHIP. His biggest problem is his control as he has already issued 35 walks in only 68 innings. It’s hard to imagine, but Liriano has been even worse on the road this season as he has a 7.20 ERA and 1.96 WHIP away from the Rogers Centre. This has the makings of an offensive explosion for the Tigers.

Players to consider stacking: Miguel Cabrera, JD Martinez and Nicholas Castellanos

Chicago Cubs vs. Wade Miley (Baltimore Orioles)
Park – Oriole Park at Camden Yards

Miley is not having a good season with the Orioles as he is 4-7 with a 4.97 ERA and a bloated 1.75 WHIP. He walks a ton of batters as he already has issued 51 walks in only 88.2 innings. That eliminates his ability to pitch deep into games as well as he is averaging only 5 innings per start. The Cubs entered Friday with a .358 OBP against left handed pitchers this season, so Miley could be in for a lot of trouble Saturday. Make sure you have some of the defending champs in your lineup.

Players to consider stacking: Kris Bryant, Ian Happ and Ben Zobrist

Daily Fantasy Baseball Stacks – Sunday, July 9

Make sure you get your DFS fix Sunday as the All-Star break begins Monday. Put your favorite daily fantasy baseball stacks from the article below in our lineup optimizer and hit calculate. Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw delivers in the first inning of a baseball game against the Pittsburgh Pirates in Pittsburgh, Sunday, June 26, 2016. (AP Photo/Gene J. Puskar)

**STARTING PITCHERS**

Clayton Kershaw vs. Kansas City Royals
Park – Dodger Stadium

Kershaw looks to wrap up another stellar first half on a high note Sunday against the Royals. He enters the game 13-2 with a 2.19 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and 146 strikeouts in 123.1 innings. While it’s hard to imagine he could pitch any better, he has not allowed a run over his last three starts, striking out 31 batters in the process. The Royals don’t score a ton of runs in the first place as they are towards the bottom of the league, so expect Kershaw to put together a great performance.

Trevor Cahill vs. Philadelphia Phillies
Park – Citizens Bank Park

Cahill has quietly been a reliable starter for the Padres as he is 3-2 with a 2.96 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 55 strikeouts in 45.2 innings. He has done an excellent job keeping the ball in the park as he has only allowed three home runs all season. While Cahill doesn’t jump out as a DFS option on most nights, he has value Sunday against the Phillies as they have one of the least potent offenses in all of baseball. If you want a cheap starting pitcher, Cahill has a chance to pitch well in this contest.

**OFFENSIVE STACKS**

Colorado Rockies vs. Carlos Rodon (Chicago White Sox)
Parks – Coors Field

Rodon has missed most of this season due to injury and has only made two starts as a result. While he only allowed two runs, he did walk nine batters in 11.1 innings over those two contests. He struggles to keep runners off base in general as he has a 1.41 WHIP for his career. The Rockies hit left handed pitchers well as they entered Saturday batting .273 against southpaws. This has the makings of the first really poor outing of the season for Rodon.

Players to consider stacking: Nolan Arenado, Mark Reynolds and DJ LeMahieu

Seattle Mariners vs. Daniel Gossett (Oakland Athletics)
Park – Safeco Field

Gossett has made five starts for Oakland this season, but he allowed at least five runs in three of them. While his 6.23 ERA and 1.39 WHIP are ugly, maybe his most concerning stat is that he has allowed seven home runs in only 26 innings. He had only given up 29 home runs in 383 career innings in the minors, so he appears to be having issues adjusting to hitters in the big leagues. Make sure you get some Mariners in your lineup.

Players to consider stacking: Robinson Cano, Nelson Cruz and Jean Segura

Daily Fantasy Baseball Stacks – Saturday, July 8

While there aren’t a lot of big name starters pitching Saturday, there are still a few great options available. Put your favorite daily fantasy baseball stacks from the article below in our lineup optimizer and hit calculate. You can let it fill in the rest of the spots for you or choose your personal favorites from the MLB Player Lab.

**STARTING PITCHERS**

Stephen Strasburg vs. Atlanta Braves
Park – Nationals Park

Strasburg enters Saturday looking for his tenth win of the season after winning 15 games total in 2016. His numbers have been excellent as he has a 3.28 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 128 strikeouts in 109.2 innings this year. Strasburg has already faced the Braves three times this season, but his ERA against them is not impressive at 4.58. However, his strikeout numbers against them have been excellent as he has 31 in only 19.2 innings. He will cost you a lot Saturday, but he should be worth the price.

Aaron Nola vs. San Diego Padres
Park – Citizens Bank Park

Nola has really impressed in his last three starts as he has only allowed three runs to go along with 25 strikeouts over 21.1 innings. He has 72 strikeouts in 72.1 innings overall this season after missing some time because of injury. Not only is Nola on a hot streak, but he gets to face a very weak offense in the Padres. If you don’t want to spend the money on Strasburg, go with Nola as he could have a big performance.

**OFFENSIVE STACKS**

Minnesota Twins vs. Wade Miley (Baltimore Orioles)
Park – Target Field

Like most of the the Orioles starting rotation, Miley has struggled this season. His record stands at 3-7 to go along with a 5.20 ERA and a whopping 1.74 WHIP. Walks are his big problem as he has already issued 48 free passes in 83 innings. He doesn’t give the Orioles much length either as he has pitched 2.2 innings or less in three of his last six starts. To pile on a little more, Miley has a 6.70 ERA and 1.86 WHIP on the road this season. In summary, make sure to have some Twins in your lineup.

Players to consider stacking: Miguel Sano, Brian Dozier and Robbie Grossman

Seattle Mariners vs. Chris Smith (Oakland Athletics)
Park – Safeco Field

Smith is making his first appearance in the majors this season. His numbers in the minors are solid as he has a 3.16 ERA and 1.30 WHIP this year, but he only has 64 strikeouts in 74 innings. He is also 36 years old, so he is not a high upside prospect by any means. Other than his 13 relief appearances for Oakland last season, he had not pitched in the majors since 2010 as a member of the Milwaukee Brewers. Look for the Mariners offense to do some damage against him Saturday.

Players to consider stacking: Robinson Cano, Jean Segura and Ben Gamel
