PG
Stephen Curry @ATL – $10500 FD – $10400 DK
Projected Points – 46.81 FD – 50.8 DK
Before the injury to Kevin Durant this season Curry’s usage rate was 28.5, we have since seen that number swell to 36. Proving that he has most certainly stepped up in place of KD’s absence. You can play him confidently against Atlanta’s lackluster defense as he returns to the Curry of last season, dazzling, sparkling and all unicorn-like.

Mike Conley vs. BKN – $7800 FD – $8100 DK
Projected Points – 40.6 FD – 42.9 DK
Mike Conley comes into tonight beating projections in 4 straight games. With such an appetizing matchup at home versus The Nets and a solid salary to boot, you can rest assured that he will be going into a lot of my cash and GPP lineups tonight.

SG
CJ McCollum @ MIN – $7200 FD – $7600 DK
Projected Points – 28.07 FD – 30.49 DK
McCollum comes into the game with an insane performance against Brooklyn last time on the court. Of course, you can also argue, "hey, it was against the f-ing Nets!" However, last time versus the Timberwolves C.J. balled out for an earth-shattering 58.5 FD points. We are talking a career-high 43 points but, Portland did play without Lillard that night. That aside, I believe that the minutes are there and there is still value on McCollum tonight. Feel comfortable placing him in any format.

Tim Hardaway Jr. vs. GSW – $5500 FD – $5000 DK
Projected Points – 24.83 FD – 26.96 DK
Hardaway has a few things going for him tonight; He has been extremely hot, which leads to a substantial increase in time on the court. And he is playing against the fast-paced Warriors tonight, who aren’t that great defensively against SG’s. He is strictly a value GPP play and with his propensity to light up from behind the three-point line he is deliciously priced on Draftkings.

SF
Kawhi Leonard vs. HOU – $9200 FD – $9600 DK
Projected Points – 47.14 FD – 49.69 DK
Kawhi Leonard has averaged an astounding 56.7 FD Points per game over the course of the last three games. He comes into a fast-paced matchup versus the Rockets at home flaming red-hot. In what Vegas deems as the highest point total of the night (221.5), it will most likely be a close game where each team is trading baskets with the other.

Khris Middleton @PHIL – $5600 FD – $6500 DK
Projected Points – 33.38 FD – 35.57 DK
Given the $900 salary difference between Fanduel and Draftkings, I prefer Middleton on FD. However, he could hit 5x-6x value on both sites. With an incredibly appealing matchup against the Sixers, the last two times he has played them he has averaged 49.35 FD pts. Having a reliable floor, we can also expect Middleton to get the minutes as the Bucks adjust their lineups because of recent injuries.

PF
Aaron Gordon vs. NYK – $5200 FD – $5500 DK
Projected Points – 27.42 FD – 28.78 DK
At only $5200/$5500 (Fanduel/Draftkings) Gordon certainly is worth a roster. With the Magic currently lacking in size, Gordon will be sure to get the minutes. To make matters more appealing, he has put up consecutive 30+ point fantasy outings. The Knicks are currently giving up 48 points per game to power forwards. He should do quite well versus them tonight.

Dario Saric vs. MIL – $7400 FD – $7400 DK
Projected Points – 36.19 FD – 38.9 DK
Averaging a smooth 38.8 FD Pts. per game iver the last couple of weeks, Saric has been one of the most consistent guys on the court. With the plaguging injuries and trades of the Sixers, Philadelphia needs a big guy down low that they can rely on. Insert the oncoming train of 6’10" Dario Saric. Look for him to be highly owned in all formats tonight as he takes on the bewildered Bucks.

C
Marc Gasol
vs. BKN – $8100 FD – $8300 DK

Projected Points – 37.71 FD – 39.95 DK
At 39.5 FD Points Per game this season, Gasol continues to prove that he is a well-oiled android. (On days that he is not recharging.) With the Nets giving up more than 49 Fanduel points per game to opposing centers, look for Gasol to have command over Brooklyn’s defenders down-low during the entirety of the game. (As long as it’s not a blowout.)

Jusuf Nurkic
@MIN – $5900 FD – $6800 DK

Projected Points – 34.5 FD – 36.72 DK
Nurkic has looked more than solid after the All-Star break proving that Portland made a good trade. After 5 out of 6 games of beating projections, Nurkic’s salary has GONE DOWN to $5900 on Fanduel. Towns has been known to give up some big games against opposing centers and with Jusuf getting the minutes tonight’s matchup should prove no different.

Welcome to another daily fantasy breakdown for the NBA. We have a slate of 10 games tonight, which means there is a lot of room for potential value in your NBA lineup optimizer picks tonight.

PG
Russell Westbrook @PHX – $13000 FD – $13100 DK
Projected Points – 63.45 FD – 67.98 DK
Westbrook usually dominates the Suns when he plays them. In his last two games vs. Phoenix he has scored an average of 76.9 FD points and 85.25 DK points. Even with his crazy high salary, he should hit and even exceed value tonight as the Suns play at one of the fastest paces in the league.

Dennis Schroder vs CLE – $6500 FD – $6200 DK
Projected Points – 31.83 FD – 34.27 DK
Dennis Schroder could be an under the radar play for today. The Cavaliers come into the game giving up 36.3 FPPG and 8 AST/game. In the last two matchups vs Cleveland, the Cavs fast place allowed Schroder to exceed projections handsomely. Now is the time to strike with Schroder’s salary coming down a bit because of the suspension.

SG
Evan Fournier vs MIA – $5300 FD – $5600 DK
Projected Points – 26.92 FD – 29.38 DK
We open up with two value-licious plays for you in the shooting guard position. One of them being Evan Fournier. Fournier always seems to perform well against the Heat when he plays, exceeding projection in the last 7 of 7 times he has played them. He’s one of the leading point / minute getters on Orlando and should score into the 30’s today.

Devin Booker vs. OKC – $6200 FD – $6700 DK
Projected Points – 27.9 FD – 30.53 DK
Our other value shooting guard spot is Devin Booker. As mentioned previously The Suns play at one of the fastest paces in the league, couple that with the fact that OKC is sixth and you have a recipe for the highest total of the night (225). Phoenix generally keeps games close on their home court which should work in Devin’s favor. Don’t be surprised to see Booker to hit 30+ FPT’s tonight.

SF
Gordon Hayward vs. BKN – $8000 FD – $7600 DK
Projected Points – 27.9 FD – 30.53 DK
Anytime the Nets are involved you can be sure there are at least a couple of guys racking up the fantasy points on the opposing teams. Brooklyn is currently playing at the fastest pace of the league which only works against them. You should see the usage rate spike tonight for Hayward as Rodney Hood has been labeled as out for the second night in a row.

TJ Warren vs. OKC – $5400 FD – $5800 DK
Projected Points – 25.65 FD – 26.56 DK
I can’t help it, this PHX vs. OKC game is so attractive on paper that it’s just too hard to resist. In two out of the last three games vs. OKC, Warren has been in the perfect lineup doubling and tripling his projections. Warren comes into the game with a high floor (~29) and is likely to crush projections performing at a 7x-8x value.
I’m in love with this spot and game, if that isn’t already evident.

PF
Dario Saric vs. NYK – $7300 FD – $7400 DK
Projected Points – 34.66 FD – 37.27 DK
I’m expecting big things from Saric as he takes on the Knicks tonight even though he threw up a virtual dud in his last match vs. the Heat. Prior to the blowout, his numbers hit the stratosphere averaging 37.7 FD points per game over the course of his last 7. The Knicks are giving up 41.6 FD points against power forwards this year per game, which means Saric should be able to return to the numbers that he has been putting up over the last two weeks.

Serge Ibaka @WAS – $6900 FD – $6700 DK
Projected Points – 32.93 FD – 34.53 DK
Serge Ibaka has filled the starting role well in Toronto. His usage rate has spiked since Lowry
went down with a right wrist injury. Hitting an average of rougly 36 minutes in his last four games, with two of the last 4 in the perfect lineup Ibaka has become exactly what the Raptors were hoping. Look for him to continue to step up to the plate.

C
Rudy Gobert vs. BKN – $7500 -FD – $7300 DK
Projected Points – 36.66 FD – 38.43 DK
As mentioned with Hayward, the Nets really struggle on the court. In his last two games vs. Brooklyn he has scored an average of 43.5 FD PTS. He should continue to have no problem dominating them down low. Stacks of UTAH, OKC, PHX are all completely viable plays in every format tonight.

Al Horford @LAL – $6000 FD – $6200 DK
Projected Points – 34.3 FD – 36.04 DK
It’s no secret the Lakers are just bloody awful at Defense. So far this season, the Lakers have allowed an atroucious 50.6 FD points (!) against Centers. While Horford as been a bit touch-and-go as of late, if the game stays close you can look for him to hit ~5x value.

As the first day of March springs upon us there a couple of big takeaways to keep in mind, Demarcus Cousins, even after switching teams is getting himself in trouble again as he serves a one-game suspension and Kevin Durant is out with a knee injury indefinitely. This should make way for other big names on the court to pick up their slack, namely Antony Davis and Stephen Curry.

PG

John Wall @TOR – $10400 FD – 10200 DK
Projected Points – 45.66 FD – 50.36 DK
You can count on Wall in your times of need, always dependable for cash he comes in with one of the highest floors in the NBA. He has at least 40 FD points in 10 straight games. A huge factor in his consistency is his minutes, he those 10 games he is averaging around 39 minutes per game.Tonight, with the Raptors having Lowry out for what’s likely to be the rest of the season, I expect Wall to rack up the points against Joseph. While Joseph is solid, Wall is going to ball around him. You can mark my works, look for Wall to hit the 55+ FPT. area tonight.

Goran Dragic vs PHI – $7800 FD – $7100 DK
Projected Points – 31.69 FD – 34.03 DK
Tonight the Miami Heat host the Sixers at home. Dragic has been a big part of Miami’s surge toward the last playoff spot in the Easter Conference. Over the course of the last eight games he has managed to average 32.6 FD PT’s per game. He has some GPP upside tonight, as the Sixers are eighth in the league in giving up the most points. (107.1)

SG
Giannis Antetokounmpo – $11100 FD – $10500 DK
Projected Points – 54.08 FD – 56.15 DK
Even though his last outing was abysmal, you can count on Giannis to always bounce back. It hasn’t been all bad lately for Giannis, over the last nine games he has scored at least 55 FD Points in 5 of them. His usage rate has spiked ever since Jabari Parker went down with his season-ending ACL injury. Look for the Greek Freak to dominate tonight as the Nuggets are among the NBA’s worst in allowing fantasy points against shooting guards this season.

Seth Curry @ ATL – $6100 FD – $5900 DK
Projected Points – 30.1 FD – 32.22 DK
With Deron Williams now playing for the Cavs and Wesley Matthews injured Seth Curry has been putting on quite a performance lately. Tonight you should see spikes in both usage and minutes. The Hawks are going to be a good matchup for Seth as they have given up 36.3 FD points to shooting guards so far this season. Look for Seth to take control for the Mavs.

SF

LeBron James @ BOS – $10600 FD – $10900 DK
Projected Points – 48.44 FD – 51.91 DK
You can always count on James to get the minutes that he needs to hit value. Las Vegas has this one pegged as an extremely close, high-scoring game. If the wisdom of Vegas prevails, you can expect LeBron to rack up the points and even grant a triple-double bonus on DK. The Celtics don’t have many defensive players that can handle James attacking the basket, look for him to rack up around 55 tonight and exceed projections.

Terrence Ross vs. NYK – $4400 FD – $5200 DK
Projected Points – 25..3 FD – 27.19 DK
Since coming over to the Magic from Toronto in the Ibaka trade, Ross has exceeded expectations. With an exceptional matchup against the Knicks at home, look for Ross to put up another stellar performance that doubles his value. Ross makes for a solid play in GPP and cash because his salary has stayed relatively flat.

PF
Anthony Davis vs. DET – $11600 FD – $10400 DK
Projected Points – 50.49 FD – 54.07 DK
Davis will take the court without Cousins tonight, which leaves a lot of room for Anthony to rack up the stats. With Boogie out, expect the Brow’s ceiling to be sky-high already averaging owners 53.8 FPPG this season. Usually a tough matchup vs. DET, Davis has performed well against them in the past, with an incredible 89 (!!!) FD Points against them last season.

Willie Cauley-Stein vs BK – $5400 FD – $5500 DK
Projected Points – 31.9 FD – 33.1 DK*
As expected, WCS minutes have increased handsomely with Cousins now gone in the frontcourt for the Kings. Now he hasn’t been consistent, but because of the price and the matchup you can be sure that the play will be chalky tonight. The Nets are currently allowing
THE MOST POINTS PER GAME* in the league at 114.4.

C

Hassan Whiteside vs. PHI – $8800 FD – $8300 DK
Projected Points – 42.97 FD – 46.29 DK
Whiteside has been consistently bringing the pain all season. Versus a Philadelphia team that has given up a league-worst 51.4 FD Points per game to opposing centers, you can be sure that he will take advantage of this matchup tonight. With Embiid out for the Sixers and the Heat at home, you can expect Hassan to blow past his projections with a nearly guaranteed double-double.

Nikola Vucevic vs NYK – $7400 FD – $7400 DK
Projected Points – 37.35 FD – 38.8 DK
The Knicks, to one’s surprise, come into the came with a bottom five defense against centers. So far this season the Knicks have allowed an atrocious 48.9 FD points per games to opposing centers. With Noah having arthroscopic left knee surgery, you can now those numbers to be even higher. Vucevic has always been one of my favorite personal plays in cash and GPP and with such an appealing matchup tonight is no different.

We’ve been waiting oh so long, but it’s finally here; The triumphant return of the terribly missed NBA. Teams have been shuffled and the trade deadline is ticking to its demise. (Keep an eye out for any roster changes up until 3 P.M.) After tons of hype and Twitter explosions, we finally get to see what the Pelicans look like with the powerful duo of DeMarcus Cousins & Anthony Davis on the court. Will they make a deep run into the playoffs? I can’t wait to find out.

PG

Darren Collison vs. DEN- $5500 FD – $7400 DK
Projected Points – 30.76 FD – 32.5 DK
With Cousins now a part of the Pelicans you will see Collison’s usage rate spike. Collison has seen over 40 minutes in 3 of his last four games. The Nuggets offer up an excellent matchup as they have given up the 2nd most DK & FD points to PG this season (second only to the Nets). Make sure you lock him in your FD lineups with the substantial price of difference of nearly $2k.

Kemba Walker @ DET – $7700 FD – $7700 DK
Projected Points – 40.62 FD – 43.56 DK
Kemba Walker has been playing at his prime the last couple of games before AllStar break. In the last matchup vs. DET, he scored 44.9 FD points, which just so happens to match up perfectly with his ceiling. On top of this, he has been playing an enormous amount of minutes with 40.8 mins in his last three games and 35.4 mins over his last 16. Look for Walker to have a peak performance tonight.

SG

James Harden @ NO – $12600 FD – $12500 FD
Projected Points – 59.32 FD – 66.05 DK
With the Pelicans trading some of their best defenders, this matchup becomes increasingly appetizing. I know that you may have some reservations with the salary being so high, but you can fully expect the floor for Harden to be around 60/70 FD/DK Pts. All of the fantasy eyes are going to be watching intently as Cousins/Davis rack up the points for the Pelicans. Harden should counter-balance and bring the pain as he decimates what is left of the New Orleans backcourt.

Evan Fournier vs. POR – $5400 FD – $6000 DK
Projected Points – 27.79 FD – 29.9 DK
With Ibaka now to the Raptors, Fournier is going to be put into a bigger role for the Magic. With a discount on FD, you can feel secure locking him into most of your lineups. He has hit 33.3 DK Points in his last four home games and 27.4 over his last 9. I fully expect him to hit projected on both sites.

SF

Trevor Ariza @ NO – $5300 FD – $5600 DK
Projected Points – 26.46 FD – 28.44 DK
Even though the Rockets have been shuffled around, with the arrival of Lou Williams, I don’t expect it to eat into the minutes of Ariza that much. As a defender, he is one of the best on the team. As an offender, he has a moderate floor while staying fairly consistent. Even though his upside is limited, he torched the Pelicans last game putting up 33.5 FD pts.

Kevin Durant vs. LAC – $10300 FD – $9400 DK
Projected Points – 50.35 FD – 52.91 DK
You might have some trouble today finding players at the SF position. With that said, you can always count on the reliable Kevin Durant. You may have to pay up a bit, but his high floor and ability to push through ceilings on any given night makes him one of the best at his position. Don’t be surprised if he’ll earn you 60+ DK pts tonight.

PF

Frank Kaminsky @ DET – $6000 FD – $6300 DK
Projected Points – 31.59 FD – 33.61 DK
Kaminsky has been tearing up the courts as of late, and the price hasn’t yet reflected the damage that he’s been doing. Leaving defenders scratching their heads, Kaminsky has been able to take full advantage of his role. The ceiling is high (~40), and he has been getting 36.8 mins in his last three games.

Channing Frye vs. NY – $5400 FD – $5500 DK
Projected Points – 28.31 FD – 30.98 DK
With the Cavs now getting no (Kevin) Love, you can expect Frye to become a staple in lineups until his price increases. His monstrous game vs. MIN shows that he is a big guy that can post up and also throw up a three-pointer. The Knicks defense will struggle to stop him along with the rest of the Cavs tonight.

C

Nikola Vucevic vs. POR – $7200 FD – $7100 DK
Projected Points – 40 FD – 43.25 DK
Once again the Ibaka trade should come into play here, look for Vucevic’s usage rate to increase. The last time out vs. the Trailblazers he absolutely crushed their squad with 53 FD Points. He has been one of my favorite go-to options for tournament plays as he has stayed relatively low-owned with a solid ceiling. So don’t tell anyone, but I highly recommend Vucevic in GPP’s tonight.

G. Hernangomez @ CLE – $5800 FD – $5700 DK
Projected Points – 32 FD – 35.25 DK
Some individuals, for whatever reason, seem to be better away players than home. With 36.88 DK Pts over his last six away games, Guillermo Hernangomez is one of them. With Joakim Noah ruled out, he should get more than enough minutes to roster him in GPP’s & Cash. Beating his projection in each of the last two meetings I expect him to do more of the same tonight.

We have an insane slate of 14 games tonight in the NBA, just one more day until the AllStar festivities are set to begin in New Orleans, LA. Sign up now and use our Lineup Optimizer for Fanduel or Draftkings with these daily fantasy picks we have listed. Included with our subscription is the NBA Player Lab Tool, set specified filters based on stats that matter most.

Point Guards

Ricky Rubio @DEN- $6800 FD – $7300 DK
Projected Points – 36.79 FD – 38.84 DK
Rubio has been lights out as of late, hitting above projection 4 out of his last five games. Tonight, versus the Nuggets, he is in prime position to continue slaying his opponents. In his last game at Denver, he scored 42 fan points, while his projection was merely 28. Even though the Nuggets are coming off a mouth-dropping victory over the Warriors, they rank at the bottom of defensive efficiency. What plays most in Rubio’s favor is that Denver ranks next to last in Defense vs. PG in the last 5d, giving up 55.28 PPG.

Mike Conley vs NO – $7700 FD – $7500 DK
Projected Points – 39.53 FD – 41.82 DK
Conley comes in tonight with a superb match-up against a spiritless Pelicans defense. Even though he puts up the points, he shockingly seems to go under-owned night after night. In his last ten games, Conley has 22.1 PPG, 6.6 APG and 2.8 RPG. With a consistent high floor, coupled with the fact that he’ll be low-owned, you can’t go wrong with Conley in cash and tournaments tonight.

Shooting Guards

Giannis Antetokounmpo @ BK – $10800 FD – $10800 DK
Projected Points – 52.94 FD – 55.1 DK
It’s true The Greek Freak can run hot and cold, you never know which way he may go, but when your opponents are Brooklyn chances are Giannis will be in the perfect lineup. The Nets play at the fastest pace in the league while Giannis is one the highest per possession point players. This recipe will surely create the points that you need to win in your cash and tournament lineups. With Jabari Parker out for the rest of the year, we’ve already begun to see his usage rate increase.

Marcus Smart vs. PHI – $5800 FD – $5700 DK
Projected Points – 27.46 FD – 29.62 DK**
There aren’t many other choices in the league where you are going to get more bang for your buck than with Marcus Smart. Smart has been magnificent in his last three games; you can expect this trend to continue as he goes up against the Sixers at home. For me, Smart has a floor of around 30 tonight, with the ceiling around 40.

Small Forward

Andrew Wiggins @ DEN – $7900 FD – $7900 DK
Projected Points – 32.05 FD – 36.39 DK
With Zach Lavine out, the usage rate and total points for Wiggins has been exponential. In his last game vs. the Cavaliers he played 41(!) minutes, the Wolves need Wiggins to win. With the fast-paced Nuggets In his last ten games, he has increased his PPG by a cool 5 points over his seasonal average. Over his last four games, Wiggins averages 46 FD points. Wiggins, trustworthy in any format, is one of my top plays of the night.

Michael Beasley @ BK – $4900 FD – $5500 DK
Projected Points – 27.46 FD – 29.62 DK
It goes without saying, now that Jabari Parker is out, Beasley’s minute increase has been substantial. Although he has some rather large shoes to fill, we have seen him come in and take charge. In his last game vs. DET he had an impressive perfect lineup performance scoring 41 FD points. He can easily go boom or bust, but right now with the Bucks needed someone to lean on Beasley may become their man.

Power Forward

Blake Griffin vs ATL – $9800 FD – $9500 DK
Projected Points – 43.26 FD – 45.55 DK
Griffin has been nothing but impressive since coming back from his injury in the last couple of weeks. Scoring an average of 44.33 FD points, we’ve seen his performance rise every day since his return. The price tag may seem a tad expensive, but the ceiling is most certainly there.

Nerlens Noel @BOS – $5600 FD – $6100 DK
Projected Points – 29.55 FD – 30.62 DK
With Embiid out, and Okafor expected to be traded shortly, Noel’s value has never been higher this season. The Celtics have trouble stopping opposing power forwards this year, allowing an average of 42 FD point per game. Over his previous three games he has averaged 30+ FD points and with 36 FD points in only 25 minutes in his last matchup vs. Boston you can expect more of the same.

Center

Marc Gasol vs NO – $8400 FD – $7500 DK
Projected Points – 39.4 FD – 41.59 DK
In what may be the Draftkings value play of the night, I’m predicting that Gasol comes in with a ceiling as high as 68 points, and a floor of 47. These numbers may be difficult to believe, but check out his previous matchups versus the Pelicans, New Orleans isn’t able to stop the on-coming train that is Marc Gasol. He is well-rounded, versatile and when he is on, it’s on.

Al Horford vs PHIL – $6800 FD – $6800 DK
Projected Points – 38.23 FD – 40.32 DK
Even though he has been lacking as of late, Horford has the perfect opponent in the 76’ers. Because of the enormous slate and dependency issues, he should be extremely low-owned making him a great tournament play. The Sixers don’t have much in the way of defenders to stop him, scoring 42.4 FD points in their last matchup.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks for 02/13/17

James Leer

Point Guards

Jrue Holiday – $8300 FD – $8800 DK
Projected Points – 38.91 FD – 41.96 DK
Jrue Holiday has the hot hand right now and having played 40(!) minutes last night you can be sure that he will get you the minutes. Some may think this guy is overpriced at this point. However, he should continue to bring value tonight in a favorable match-up against the Phoenix Suns.

Mike Conley – $7900 FD – $7700 DK
Projected Points – 40.33 FD – 43.12 DK
Conley is in a great position tonight to bring you a high floor as he is going up versus the Brooklyn Nets who are dead last in the league in giving up baskets to point guards. He put up some impressive numbers last night versus the Warriors, in a far superior matchup he should do just fine tonight.

Shooting Guards

C.J. McCollum – $7800 FD – $7800 DK
Projected Points – 37.81 FD – 40.54 DK
After seeing Plumlee traded to the Nuggets you’re going to witness an entirely different TrailBlazers team. Being the number two PPG earner for Portland, not only will McCollum’s usage rate increase but you’re going to see him step up his stats even more. Going against a horrible Hawks defense, this is a guy you don’t want to leave off your lineups.

Nicolas Batum – $8000 FD – $7900 DK
Projected Points – 34.24 FD – 37.13 DK
Another quite favorable matchup will be Batum vs. the weak opposing defense of the Sixers. Beating projections the past three games, you can expect dependability from him. When Batum makes a bold lockroom move not only to predict but guarantee a victory, you better expect he will bring his A-game tonight.

Small Forward

TJ Warren – $4900 FD – $5000 DK
Projected Points – 25.73 FD – 26.66 DK
Even though Warren has been boom or bust throughout the season, he has always thrown up regular points versus the Pelicans. In fact, he is one of the consistent guys on the Suns regarding minutes and production. And for such a small price tag, it leaves room for more must-have targets.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist – $5600 FD – $5000 DK
Projected Points – 24.18 FD – 25.01 DK
I know, I know flinches everywhere amongst the readers with the dreaded MKG. With Valentine’s day tomorrow, you may have commitment issues with this player’s lack of persistence, and honestly, who can blame you? However, his biggest strength is his rebounding skills and it’s all about the size matchup tonight.

Power Forward

Anthony Davis – $11,100 FD – $11,000 DK
Projected Points – 54.78 FD – 58.86 DK
It may sting the wallet a bit, but Anthony Davis may be the stud that you’ll have to pay up on tonight. The Suns simply don’t have anyone to post-up and stop the monstrous attack that he brings to the table. The Suns are giving 30 FPPG and 7.4 REB/game to PF starters. Add the fact that Davis is near-peak performance and you have a recipe for a winning lineup.

Narlens Noel – $5,400 FD – $5,300 DK
Projected Points – 31.06 FD – 32.11 DK
With Embiid and Okafor out, Narlens Noel is going to be one of those injury plays that everyone is on. You can hardly afford not to play him in the majority of your lineups. He is most certainly expected to beat value as the Hornets defense, over the past five games, have allowed an average of 46.3 FPts to PF’s.

Center

Nikola Vucevic – $7100 FD – $7100 DK
Projected Points – 36.07 FD – 39.38 DK
Averaging 34.4 FPPG Vucevic is certainly worth a look in this spot. In his last two starts, he puts up some impressive numbers against the Heat. Vucevic happens to be my sneaky play of the night, (Shhh! Don’t tell anyone) if everything goes according to plan you can count on him to beat projections tonight. He should produce for you in both cash games and tournaments tonight.

Dwight Howard – $6800 FD – $6900 DK
Projected Points – 35.87 FD – 39.19 DK
Due to his erratic stats I can understand why you may have your reservations with this play. However, if Dwight Howard can get the minutes tonight his track record against the TrailBlazers has always been impressive and with Plumlee recently traded to Portland they are now further lacking the size and strength to stop him.

Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum Combine Forces to Best the Mavericks

In what proved to be the best game of the short slate in the NBA tonight, a hard-fought battle featuring @Dame_Lillard and the @trailblazers vs the Dallas Mavericks at home. Though it was the Trail Blazers that ended up victorious over the Mavericks by one-point, the two teams ended up trading blows up until the very last second.

NFL DFS Stack Targets – AFC/NFC Championship Games

Well, we are now down to four teams and two games to determine who will battle for the Super Bowl. Normally, I would not get very excited about a two-game slate but this Sunday should be a lot of fun with tons of fantasy relevant plays. Not only are both games projected to be high scoring the Packers/Falcons game has a crazy high 60.5 Over/Under. Let’s take a look at each matchup and a few possible stacks for each team.

gb-ty-montgomery-x2.jpg

NFC Championship Game

Green Bay Packers (10-6) vs. Atlanta Falcons (11-5)
Vegas Favorite – ATL (-5)
Over/Under – 60.5

Offensive Rankings (DVOA/Yards per Game)
ATL – 7th in Rushing (120.5 yards/game), 1st in Passing (295.3 yards/game)
GB – 5th in Rushing (106.3 yards/game), 7th in Passing (262.4 yards/game)

Defensive Rankings (DVOA/Yards per Game)
ATL – 29th vs. the Rush(104.5 yards/game), 19th vs. the Pass(266.7 yards/game)
GB – 14th vs. the Rush(94.7 yards/game), 22nd vs. the Pass(269.3 yards/game)

Like I mentioned above, this game has a crazy 60.5 Vegas Total and features two of the front-runners for the MVP award in Aaron Rodgers and Matt Ryan. Both quarterbacks led their teams to division championships with Top 5 offenses. Both finished inside the Top 5 in yards (Rodgers 4th with 4,428 and Ryan 2nd with 4,944) and finished 1st and 2nd in touchdowns. Here are my favorite plays and stacks from this game:

My favorite QB of this game, and the entire week, is easily Aaron Rodgers even with the question marks to his wide receivers. He was relied on by his team more than any other QB in the league this year with a crazy high 78% of his teams total touchdowns. This was due in large part to the non-existent run game, which is another reason I lean Rodgers as Matt Ryan has one of the top running back duo’s in the league behind him. Not that Ryan is a bad play, as no one that averaged 309 yards passing per game with a crazy high 9.3 yards per attempt could be faded with just four options remaining. Not only that, he threw touchdowns to 13 different receivers this year, an NFL record. For running backs, I will have a ton of exposure to Ty Montgomery and Tevin Coleman this week. They both come in that second tier and allow you to pay up for a high-end QB/WR stack with another elite player. Montgomery is coming off his second-best game of the season where he rushed 11 times for 47 yards and two touchdowns and also caught six of his seven targets for an additional 34 yards. For Coleman, it comes down to the savings you get off Freeman with very similar upside. Freeman has out-touched (39-28) and out targeted (18-11) Coleman over the Falcons last three games but it has been Coleman with the extra TD (3-2). There just isn’t enough difference in production between the two to warrant a $2,400 and $1,700 difference on DraftKings & FanDuel, especially on a small slate in a game projected for 60+ points.

Favorite Green Bay Stack – Aaron Rodgers, Randall Cobb, Ty Montgomery, Jared Cook

Favorite Atlanta Stack – Matt Ryan, Julio Jones, Mohamed Sanu, Tevin Coleman

Game Prediction – ATL 34 GB 31

AFC Championship Game

Pittsburgh Steelers (11-5) vs. New England Patriots(14-2)
Vegas Favorite – NE(-6)
Over/Under – 50.5

Offensive Rankings (DVOA/Yards per Game)
PIT – 8th in Rushing(110.0 yards/game), 8th in Passing(262.6 yards/game)
NE – 17th in Rushing(117.0 yards/game), 2nd in Passing(269.3 yards/game)

Defensive Rankings (DVOA/Yards per Game)
PIT – 11th vs. the Rush(100.0 yards/game), 12th vs. the Pass(242.6 yards/game)
NE – 4th vs. the Rush(88.6 yards/game), 23rd vs. the Pass(237.9 yards/game)

Sunday night brings us a matchup of two elite, veteran quarterbacks with six combined Super Bowl rings. While the game doesn’t have a Vegas Total of 60+, it is still very high for a playoff game at 50.5 points. When looking at stacking this weekend between the two games, this will be the game I have the least exposure to. Although the results from earlier this year are slightly skewed as Big Ben was out, there were some definite takeaways. Antonio Brown was barely slowed down catching seven balls for 107 yards with Landry Jones at quarterback. Even with a target on his back Le’Veon Bell was able to pick up 81 yards on the ground with an additional 68 yards through the air. He is virtually matchup-proof but the real question on a two-game slate is whether you are willing to pay a $9.5K+ price tag? He was much easier to construct a lineup with the last two weeks where there were four games and eight teams to find value. This week it is going to be nearly impossible to to have more than a couple Bell lineups as the overall roster upside is capped with limited value plays.

If you are looking for the top plays out of this game look no further than each team’s top wide receiver. They are ranked #1 & #2 in projected targets out of both games which should come as no surprise as they both averaged right around 10 targets per game during the regular season. If you are looking at the Patriots run game the most popular choice will be Dion Lewis who picked up three touchdowns in last week’s win(one rushing, one receiving, one return). It is tough to separate yourself on a small slate but my recommendation would be to fade Lewis for LeGarrette Blount in tournaments. Take the lower owned, less expensive option Blount who scored 18 touchdowns in the regular season and should see10+ touches in a game the Patriots should win at home. While his game vs. the Texans looked disappointing for the most part, he averaged 3.9 yards per carry while Lewis averaged just 3.2 yards per carry.

Favorite New England Stack – Tom Brady, Julian Edelman, LeGarrette Blount

Favorite Pittsburgh Stack – Ben Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown, Eli Rogers

Game Prediction – NE 27 PIT 21
