NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 3/26/19

Get ready for a wild night in the NBA with 10 games on the schedule Tuesday. When you factor in all of the injuries across the league and teams resting players, there are a ton of viable cheap value play options. Let’s highlight a couple at each position that stand out as having favorable opportunities to be productive. POINT GUARDS

Frank Jackson, NO vs. ATL

DraftKings = $5,100

This stands out as a top game to target with both the Pelicans and the Hawks inside the top-three in the league in pace of play. Players who have secure playing time should provide excellent upside. Jackson is one of those players who is locked into significant minutes with Jrue Holiday (abdomen) and E’Twaun Moore (quadriceps) out. Things could get even worse for the Pelicans if Elfrid Payton (wrist), who is listed as questionable, is unable to take the floor. Jackson’s price is climbing, but this is still a great spot to add him to your lineup.

Shaquille Harrison, CHI at TOR

DraftKings =$4,400

Speaking of teams decimated by injuries, the Bulls will likely be without Zach LaVine (thigh), Otto Porter Jr. (shoulder) and Kris Dunn (back) for this contest. Not only does that remove three players from their depth chart, but they are three of their top options on the team. Harrison has started the last three games, averaging 10 points, six rebounds and three steals in 37 minutes a night. Don’t sleep on him in tournament play despite his lack of scoring prowess.

SHOOTING GUARDS

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, LAL vs. WAS

DraftKings = $5,000

Focusing on bad teams with short rotations this time of year can prove to be profitable in DFS. The Lakers are already dealing with injuries to key players and will now be without Josh Hart (knee) for this contest. Reggie Bullock (foot) is also questionable with his potential absence really opening things up for Caldwell. He’s already playing well with averages of 17 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.1 steals across his last seven games. Add in the fact that both of these teams are inside the top-nine in pace of play and this is a favorable spot for Caldwell-Pope to be productive.

Josh Okogie, MIN vs. LAC

DraftKings = $4,500

With all of the injuries to their backcourt and them being eliminated from the playoffs, the Timberwolves have given Okogie at least 30 minutes in four straight games. That’s helped him average 16.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.3 steals during that stretch. He should once again have a high minutes floor against a Clippers team that plays at the eighth-fastest pace (102.4 possessions per game).

SMALL FORWARDS

Miles Bridges, CHA vs. SA

DraftKings = $4,700

The Hornets are just two games out of the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, so they still have plenty left to play for. They’ve actually turned to the rookie Bridges to help them make a push, playing him at least 29 minutes in four straight games. He’s rewarded their faith in him with averages of 13.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and two steals during that stretch. They have won three straight games, so expect Bridges to once again have an expanded role against the Spurs.

Justin Jackson, DAL vs. SAC

DraftKings = $3,800

These two teams just faced off last week in a game that Jackson started and logged 33 minutes. He took advantage of the added playing time against his former squad, scoring 19 points to go along with five rebounds. He only played 21 minutes in their last game against the Warriors on Saturday, but he did at least start again. With the Kings playing at the fastest pace (104.4), Jackson might be worth taking a chance on in tournament play now that he is starting.

POWER FORWARDS

Marcus Morris, BOS at CLE

DraftKings = $6,000

The Celtics are taking advantage of this matchup against the lowly Cavaliers to rest Kyrie Irving. They could also be without Al Horford (knee) and Jayson Tatum (back), who are both listed as questionable. Considering the opponent, it wouldn’t make sense for the Celtics to push either player to take the floor if they aren’t completely healthy. Morris, who already has a 20.8 percent usage rate to go along with career-high 6.2 rebounds per game, should be one of the primary players who is expected to help pick up the slack.

Dario Saric, MIN vs. LAC

DraftKings = $4,800

Taj Gibson (calf) is set to miss his third straight game as the Timberwolves limp towards the finish line. Saric hasn’t exactly been lighting up the league lately, but he’s posted respectable averages of 11 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists across his last 11 games. His first game after being inserted into the starting five actually came against these same Clippers. He excelled with 19 points and eight rebounds in that contest. With the Clippers playing at such a fast pace, Saric has the potential to provide value, especially at his cheap price on FanDuel.

CENTERS

Thomas Bryant, WAS at LAL

DraftKings = $5,200

The Wizards are mathematically still alive in the playoff chase, but they find themselves seven games back in the loss column, so their season is all but over. They’ve decided to put Bryant back into the starting five to close out the season, resulting in him logging at least 35 minutes in back-to-back games. That’s key for him considering he’s averaged 21 points and 11.6 rebounds across nine games in which he has logged at least 30 minutes.

Ivica Zubac, LAC at MIN
FanDuel = $5,000
DraftKings = $5,000

Despite logging only 20 minutes against the Knicks on Sunday, Zubac came away with a double-double. He’s made the most of his limiting playing time with the Clippers, averaging nine points, eight rebounds and 0.9 blocks in just 20 minutes a night since joining the team. Bryant has a significantly higher upside and is likely the better choice on DraftKings considering their similar price tag. However, if you need to save even more money on FanDuel, Zubac is worth a look.
